The more of Curb Your Enthusiasm I watch...

... the more I fear that I am the female version of Larry David. Hey - he's a fellow college alumni, if nothing else.

  1. I am so glad to hear you say that! I feel the same way often. Larry will say something, and his wife or agent will look at him like he's crazy, and all the while I'm thinking "Hey, Larry has a valid point. I'd be saying that too!" E.g., in the shrimp episode where L's order gets mixed up with someone else's and he gets it back with the shrimp missing and he actually CONFRONTS the guy about it, saying hey why did you eat my shrimp?, and everyone acts like L. is crazy for asking about the shrimp, but I'm thinking, hey I'd ask where the f*** my shrimp is too! And then L. goes to the restaurant to verify how many shrimp they typically put in the dish, so that he can go back to the guy with evidence to refute the guy's claim that he didn't eat L.'s shrimp -- I really found that highly reasonable and something I think I would do!

Maybe you, me and Larry David are sane, and the rest of the world is crazy!

  2. As my mom would say, "I'm right - the world is wrong." AMEN SISTER!!

Today I pulled an elevator episode. I can't remember how to do the link right now and I'm too lazy to try multiple attempts only to fail - but check out my post from March 11, 2005.

  3. Oh my!!! That is one of the funniest episodes! :D

Would it be getting stale if I said "me too" to this? You can count me in as another elevator feigner. My feeling on the matter is, "Hey, there's 6 elevators in this lobby. Catch one of those other elevators, pal, not mine."
