I am sooooo going to church this Sunday.
The church I pass going to and from work has a marquee of sorts in front, where they advertise the next Sunday's sermon topic. I had a sense that the church was pretty liberal in its preachings based on previous sermon topics, but this week's sermon, "The Joy of Sex," pretty much nailed the coffin shut on that topic.
Be sure to sit near the door.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was in college, some evangelical organization put posters up all over campus advertising a program titled something like "Ultimate SEX!"
A non-evangelical but religious friend of mine, who was in the know about such stuff, told me the program promoted chastity until marriage, and devotiion to Jebus, with the promise that (marital) sex would thereby be so much better.
So just make sure you have an escape route. That's all I'm saying.
